Portable Document Format or "PDF" files have been around for some time. It used to be the case that in order to produce files in PDF format ourselves, we needed to use Adobe PDF Writer. No more. There are now several tools on the market.
Print2PDF will create PDF documents that are in the same format viewable in the free Adobe reader software. The created PDF's are in an exactly the format needed for a reading on a large range of platforms.
Multiple office type documents can be converted into PDF format in a batch. They keep their original file names, but with a PDF extension.
During the printing process, you can print as many different documents as you like into one single PDF file. You can merge Word, Excel, email, infact any file you can print, into a single pdf file.
Print2PDF documents can be digitaly signed to verify your identity and provide a level of tamper resistance. It uses PKCS#12. The PDF files can also be encrypted with 40 bit or 1128 bit encryption. The PDF documents can therefore be very well protected from foreign eyes.
