BrightCity designed and installed Richard Hussey Associates IT systems. Richard Hussey Associates is the sole agent to Brunel Coatings. We assisted in all areas:
We registered the domain name, brunelltd.com, and setup the email system. We installed the network, servers and laptops. Richard Hussey Associates required remote access to email and data files to mobile managers and superintendents.
We have continued the relationship with the company, providing support at short notice, plus demonstrating new technology and systems as they emerge.
Update: the company have recently upgraded their site to run Microsoft Windows Server 2003, with Exchange Server. They have also replaced all their printers with HP networked colour lasers.
All senior staff now have Nokia Communicators linked to the exchange server. This keeps them in constant reach of their emails, whether on the move or at a client site. There is no longer the need to carry laptops, phones and palm top computers.
December 2005 - we have now completed the installation of a computer based network fax service for all workstations.
May 2006 - Document electronic filing system setup, with sheet fed scanners and a document retrieval database.
